Winery:

Denmarks largest vinyard is situated on the peninsula of Røsnæs. The vinyards are mostly southfacing slopes looking at Kalundborg Fjord one the one side and 2 km to the sea on the other side. The soils are very sandy with a high content of calcium. The climate is the best in Denmark with at 100 more hours of sunshine compared to country-average and little rain. The central grapevariety is Solaris.

The winery produces wine and spirits. The wines are sparkling (Muscaris, Johanitter, Spätburgunder), white (Solaris, Johanitter, Souvignir Gris) and rosé (Monarch, Rondo, Cab. Cantor). Experimenting with reds (Cab. Cantor and fortified reds (Cab. Cantor, Leon Millot and others).

The Winery is open all year for visits, with the best time for visiting spring to october.
