NEW PLANTATIONS
In April 2010 new plantations of the great variety MALAGOUZIA were realised at Papagannakos Winery. The vineyards of 10 acres are situated in the area Vlahthi in Markopoulo, Attica. Now the winery’s plantations of Malagouzia have reached 20 acres. The special contours of the area (the landscape of east Attica Vineyards is varying and made up of undulating hills and hidden streams), the exceptional terroir (a combination of clay, sand and gravel which enables rain water to drain well and the air to circulate in the soil), as well as the dry-warm climate of east Attica are sure to give the variety the potential of bringing out it’s intensely aromatic personality.
